Make a Drink Cozy! Magical Village Embroidery File, Inspired by the Wizard World (Digital Download)

Finished drink cozies will fit standard pint glasses, as well as all standard commercial paper coffee cups.

MAKER TIP: On the left and right edges, holes are heavily circled with thread for sturdy lacing. We pierce our heavy felts and fabrics with a soldering iron or wood-burner, so they can be laced together with a fat needle using heavier leather, hemp, or ribbon.

This is a machine embroidery file for DIY crafters to sew your own projects. Upon completing your purchase, the files will be available for instant download for three days. Please see the worksheet for file specifications. Formats include DST, PES, VP3, XXX, HUS, EXP, and HUS. (Need another format? Just let us know.)

  • Height: 4.57 inches (117 mm)
  • Width: 10.21 inches (260 mm)
  • Stitches: 34,350
  • Colors: 6 (flexible)

Hoop together a lightweight quilt batting between two layers of woven fabric. Remove finished embroidery from hoop and cut around the raised satin stitch (be careful not to clip the stitching). Punch the holes with a heavy needle, die punch, or soldering iron. Lace the cozy around a glass with ribbon, hemp string, or latigo leather. The lacing can be adjusted to fit different tapered glassware.

Bear & Blue designs are digitized with woven cotton canvas and brushed denims in mind. For knits and other stretchy materials, be sure to use adequate stabilizers and toppings. Sometimes when exporting/importing files, digitization softwares will automatically regenerate elements or adjust/remove trims to comply with alternate machines. Although many of our designs are built to look "vintage", they should appear neat and clean as shown in the proof.
